Join the Friends of the Library

          Founded in 1953, the Friends of the Edgecombe County Memorial Library is committed to promoting and  stimulating interest in the library and the arts in Edgecombe County.

          Membership fees are tax deductible.  Students may join for $2.00, Individuals for $10.00, and Lifetime memberships are $100.00.

Friends members receive a fine free pass good for 6 waivers of overdue items, a reduced printing cost ($0.10 per page), and a quarterly library newsletter.

The FOL board meets every 4th Monday at 5:30 pm in the library.

          To join, print this page, fill out the membership form below, and mail to the address indicated on the form.

Upcoming Events

Watch the mail for your Fall newsletter and check the mailing label to confirm your renewal date.

Patrons are encouraged to donate gently used books, audio books, tapes, and CD's for the Library's used book sale.
